It works really well except for the problem of being unable to download the magazines that are part of my print subscription. Just an endless cycle (I recognise that word from somewhere) of login and relogins and no recognition that I am a subscriber. I will likely delete it till the next version arrives.

Id love to give a rating on how the app presents the magazine but I have no idea since I cant get past the splash screen. Ive restarted reinstalled and it still just crashes.

I originally subscribed to the printed version and saw in the AppStore that I can get a digital version too.. The only problem is that my printed versions show up earlier than the digital downloads. Case in point: I just recd the my July edition in the mail today and its not even available as a download yet.

This app is no longer supported outside of the US. Why the suden change!? As well, the publisher is no longer allowing subscribers of the print issue to download the digital copy.

App works okay for, I find the interface a bit clumsy. Sometimes I am not sure which way to scroll to continue with the article. I wish there was an option to change the font and background to make it easier to read, like the book reader has.

As has been said, seems cheesy to charge twice for the same content. Why not just do what the Economist does? Charge more and give access to both mediums? Any good alternatives?

I enjoy this and like the extra content. I have found it stable on my gen one ipad.

Thought I was buying a monthly subscription. No updates to the " magazine" - what a rip off - and no way to lodge a complaint other than via reviews....

This app will NOT download new issues, its flawed, they email me saying they are aware of the problem but still not working . Avoid this app until they update.

I love the content of the magazine. I hate the quantity of ads. Advertisers should know I slide past their junk as fast as possible.

Love this magazine HATE the app. iPhone version works ok but too small to be useful. iPad version doesnt pick up iPhone purchases and wants to make me re-buy issues. Cant login to fix it. GIVE US PORTRAIT VIEWING Make the app as good as the magazine and youll be my hero!

Im a subscriber. The magazine downloads monthly, I touch the cover in the app, and the magazine opens up and I read it. Very simple.

This was switched over to MAZ as the reader. Much easier to look at when it was the print magazine online. Not going to renew this subscription when it expires. They magazine itself is great and I will stick with the print version in the mail.

something changed with the recent ipad version. no offline access (for on the plane reading) unless you convert to pdf which only works 1/3 of the time. pdf version is much different, loses the magazine feel. cancelling unless an update is released soon.

Rodale did you actually test the new format with actual customers?? Im dumbfounded how this poor of an app could get to market. Not only is it terrible to navigate, previously downloaded content is gone, its slow and lags. I have many Rodale subscriptions because I love the content, but with a platform this disconnected from the customer, I will find my content elsewhere.

Well, it looks like I will be going back to print. This app constantly crashes on my iPad Pro! Doesnt have the feel of the magazine like it used to. Why did they try to improve on something that was already good? VERY disappointed...
